A touch of history
Established since 2002, Croissant d'Or ®, was opened by Alpha Kébé, a Frenchman, who came to England in 2000 and began working with a friend who had a bakery in London,. He quickly realised there was a demand in the UK for French breads and croissants, so he returned to Lyon to learn the art of baking.
On his return to the UK, in 2002, having acquired the skill and patience to make fresh croissants, pastries and bread by hand, Alpha visited Leeds where he met and married Tina who encouraged him to follow his dreams of running his own bakery.
Alpha was named male entrepreneur of the year at the inaugural Yorkshire Black Enterprise Convention 2007.
We deliver fresh breads, croissants and other patisserie products to local restaurants and shops.

French recipes & ingredients
Everything we serve is freshly baked each day on the premises, using classic French recipes and, along with our breads, croissants and a variety of patisserie and viennoiserie produce, we serve a fresh range of sandwiches, coffee and tea and our speciality Fougasse.
Just as they do in France we are baking in the early hours of every morning.
We open 7 days a week
Sat & Sun 8am-2.30pm
